The next Chair must be able to raise the money required to win.I have raised millions of dollars for Democratic work through my leadership at the Texas Democratic Party, my statewide campaign, and my current role leading the Agave Democratic Infrastructure Fund.I will use that experience and those relationships to strengthen the party’s finances and rebuild donor confidence.Every dollar should be raised strategically, managed responsibly, and directed toward winning elections.

The next Chair must restore confidence in the organization, support our staff, manage resources responsibly, and keep everyone focused on winning elections.From my time as Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Voter Expansion at the Texas Democratic Party, to now leading the Agave Democratic Infrastructure Fund – one of the largest Democratic donor and infrastructure organizations in the state – I've learned how to build strong teams, manage complex organizations, raise the resources campaigns need, and keep people united around a common mission.I've spent my career working with candidates, elected officials, donors, party leaders, activists, and campaign professionals across Texas. I know how to bring people with different perspectives together around a shared objective. This moment is critical to remove distractions and focus on the task at hand. As Chair, I'll listen to precinct chairs, respect the work they do, and build a party where everyone feels informed, valued, and empowered to contribute.As Chair, I'll lead with transparency, a steady hand, and a disciplined focus on the work ahead – not internal distractions. Our party is strongest when everyone has a seat at the table. There's no time for more internal chaos. Together, we can move forward with the unity, stability, and focus needed to win.

I have seen coordinated campaigns from nearly every perspective.In 2020, I helped lead major voter-registration and voter-contact programs across Texas.As Chief Strategy Officer of the Texas Democratic Party, I worked on statewide strategy, coordinated campaigning, fundraising, communications, and party infrastructure.As the Democratic nominee for Texas Railroad Commission in 2022, I experienced the coordinated campaign from the perspective of a statewide candidate.Today, through the Agave Democratic Infrastructure Fund, I invest in the long-term strength of the Democratic Party, including funding campaign managers and finance and communications staff for down-ballot candidates.I can step into this role immediately, understand what candidates and campaigns need, and help the party execute during the most important stretch of the election.

Travis County has enough Democrats registered to deliver a victory for James Talarico, Gina Hinojosa, and the entire statewide slate. For the next 100 days, the Travis County Democratic Party’s overriding responsibility is to run the strongest coordinated campaign possible.That means:Supporting candidates up and down the ballot, in all corners of the CountySupporting staff and volunteers with clear direction and training materialsRegistering, persuading, and turning out as many Democratic voters as possibleRaising the resources necessary to compete and run a robust coordinated campaignUsing party funds responsibly and transparentlyRunning up the Democratic margin in Travis CountyIf our statewide candidates are going to win, Travis County must deliver one of the largest Democratic margins in its history.I am ready to bring people together, restore stability, raise the resources we need, and help Travis County Democrats meet this moment.
